We stopped for the Hooch, and we're feeling peckish, so we decided to try food from Venezuela ... it was excellent. It took us a moment to realize that the entrance was around the back and PAST the patio. Once we got that figured out, the owner was attentive, explaining our different options, and what each category was created from. We shared the whole fried redfish, which was more than enough for two. We will definitely be back to try other delicacies.
Fantastic food in a low key place with friendly staff and patrons. Pictured is the menu del dia, plantain lesagnia and butternut squash soup. The daily specials are all unique creations. This meal may not be available when you go, but whether you get a special or go with a regular menu item, you won't be disappointed. Recommended 100%
Just ate here and it was delicious, some of the best Venezuelan food I’ve tasted before! The empanadas were fluffy, warm, and fresh. The tequenos were also very tasty and full of flavor. The staff member was very friendly and patient. Perfect food and customer service, will definitely be back! ...
So delicious. There was only one waitress the day we visited but she was so helpful and friendly! Any questions that I had about the food she was more than happy to explain. They also let us know that for our convenience they're serving in the back side of the restaurant because that's where the AC feels more pleasant, how thoughtful. We were told they have live music on the weekends so we'll have to go back soon!
Great service! And the food is authentic, fresh... I can't get enough :) The ambiance reminds me so much of Venezuela. Thanks for an awesome experience.
Arepas...... pastelitos... tequenos.... cachapas... mandocas.... This should be enough to tell you to stop by and give EPA a try. Friendly service and good Venezuelan food that won't hit the pockets too deep like other Venezuelan spots. I highly suggest you order a CHICHA drink while you're in... just trust me. Their space inside is a bit on the small side but you typically have a table to sit at. Service is great and friendly and will help you decide on food if you're not familiar. Love Epa and the energy the owner brings!!! Check them out!!
great food! the food did take a while but that’s because everything is made from scratch and it’s made fresh to order so have patience. just be wary of the the main entrance being in the back of the building
I’ve been here a few times and each time has been an excellent experience. The food is always amazing and they honestly have the best arepas in town. The staff are always kinds, courteous and helpful. I spoke to the owner one Sunday afternoon after he recovered a video of their special stew that they only serve on Sundays. I commented that it look great and similar to a stew we have in Panama. The owner offered me a sample of the stew free of charge and it tasted amazing.
